The movement operates as a coalition of the willing without formal membership counting
Evidence
How many are we? The Friends number something like 150 people, we figure—give or take. But we have never counted. It’s a coalition of the willing. Now thousands pass through the doors of the School of Radical Attention, to do free “Attention Labs” and participate in our organizing programs and street pedagogy. Maybe thirty people contributed to the writing of this book. And everyone agreed that all the proceeds from its sale would benefit our ongoing nonprofit projects. — The Friends of Attention, Attensity!, 28
