Supporting reparations means committing to documented loss accounting, not fixating on one price tag
Evidence
The economic crimes committed against black Americans need to be unearthed by the PtSD Commission, whose members will have to do some detective work. The commissioners would have access to academics as well as the testimony of victims who could provide historical records along with oral histories that can document losses. Many of the subcommittees would document and quantify the harm inflicted on black Americans. All those numbers would have to be included. This is what support for a reparations commission looks like. It requires you to put aside your angst over a number in order to take this historic journey to do what no other generation has done. — Dorothy A. Brown, Getting to Reparations, 555
