Neo-Nazi Stormtroopers were more educated but mostly failed college.

Evidence

The larger, September 1971 sample (which included thirty-four persons who had not answered the July survey, most of them from out of town) varied more. Ages ranged from 17 to 52, with a mean of 26.1 years. Blue-collar workers still outnumbered white-collar ones, but only by sixteen to twelve. Twelve of the Stormtroopers were still students, seven in high school. The mean level of formal education was 13.0 years, with a range from 6 to 18. Most of those who had attempted university had failed to complete their studies, however. Only four of the forty-three Nazis who answered this question had college degrees. — Bob Altemeyer, The Authoritarian Specter, 4310
