Mailings from Muslims can trigger FBI home visits based on civilian reports.
Evidence
MAHAM: I asked my husband, “Who’s knocking at our door at this time of night?” And I was upstairs trying to get the kids to bed, but I peeked from the loft to look down … it was a man in uniform with a badge, and I’m pretty sure he identified himself as the FBI, and he wanted to follow up on a civilian call that had come in in regards to something that had been mailed at the post office. And my husband’s like, “Sure. Come on in.” I was standing at the top of the stairs, and he’s like, “Please come on in.” [The FBI agent] was like, “No, no, sir. That won’t be necessary.” [My husband said] “Do you want me to get my wife?” [The agent]’s like, “Well, no. We’re just following up [about] what was mailed, and where was it mailed, and the details of it.” And so [my husband] said, “Yeah. Someone had sent her some clothes, and she was shipping them back to her because they were for sale. We have all the paperwork.” — , Selod, Saher - Forever Suspect_…, 466
