High RWA individuals conceal their prejudice more than low RWA individuals do
Evidence
I have often found, however, that High RWAs give significantly more prejudiced answers when answering anonymously than when they know they can be identified (just as exit polls of elections involving a black and a white candidate sometimes find more people saying they voted for the minority candidate than actually did). I have never found Low RWAs to score significantly lower in prejudice when answering anonymously, compared to when they are identifiable. High RWAs may thus be cloaking their ethnocentrism more than most. — Bob Altemeyer, The Authoritarian Specter, 3916
