Hayek, Machlup, and Haberler all trained under von Mises in interwar Vienna.

Evidence

With Gottfried Haberler, Fritz Machlup was Hayek’s assistant at the Osterreichisches Institut für Konjunkturforschung, an institute founded in 1927 by Hayek’s mentor Ludwig von Mises and financed by the Rockefeller Foundation. Machlup did his dissertation under Mises’s supervision. Both Hayek and Machlup were active participants in Mises’s Privatseminar in the 1920s. — Philip Mirowski & Dieter Plehwe (eds.), The Road from Mont Pèlerin, 996
