Feminism analyzes how women were inferiorized and connects sexism to other dominations

Evidence

Recognizing that this term raises red flags for many who may be most familiar with the media-sensationalized notions of feminists as ā€œmanhaters,ā€ or the ā€œbra-burnersā€ of the 1960s, we use this concept to refer to the sorts of critical and ethical analyses that examine the ways that women have been inferiorized through social and institutional processes historically as well as in contemporary social, economic, and political con texts. Feminism comes in many different theoretical and political forms that grow out of the diverse experiences of women and men who are concerned about oppression and ecological degradation. Many femin - ists are clear that sexist practices and beliefs, and patriarchal systems are not disconnected from other forms of domination like racism, classbased oppression, or ecological degradation. — Rebecca A.
