Christian nationalism had not been systematically measured with large-scale quantitative data before this book
Evidence
Several important books—to which we are greatly indebted—have recently addressed the phenomenon of Christian nationalism (though not always by that name) in the United States. But to date, there have been no attempts to systematically and empirically examine Christian nationalism and its influence in American social, cultural, and political life. This is precisely what we do in this book, using large-scale quantitative data to develop more reliable answers to questions about who Christian nationalists are and how Christian nationalism influences their lives. — Andrew L. Whitehead; Samuel L. Perry, Taking America Back for God, 46
