A successful attention movement needs dramatization, denunciation, and mass
Evidence
And all of this is very good. It is part of what indicates just how ready we are for the catalytic emergence of a broad-based coalition dedicated to the protection, cultivation, and even, when necessary, the loving regeneration of human attention. But to get there, we need still more work by everyone who cares: work that dramatizes the richness and profit-defying glory of human attentional ecosystems; work calling out the heedless despoilers of our attentional commons; work standing together to give face and voice and mass to a movement capable of facing down some of the most powerful and well-endowed interests in the world. — The Friends of Attention, Attensity!, 239
