Social Darwinist
A Social Darwinist is an adherent of the ideology applying Darwinian evolutionary concepts—such as natural selection, competition, and survival of the fittest—to human societies, often treating intergroup conflict and social inequality as natural and inevitable. Social Darwinist theory, prominent in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, justified competition among nations, races, and classes as a biological necessity.
