Scientific Socialism
Scientific Socialism is a Marxist theoretical framework (associated especially with Engels and later Lenin) claiming that socialism represents the necessary, scientifically grounded outcome of historical and material development, in contrast to earlier “utopian” socialism. In political practice, it referred to an ideological doctrine adopted by certain states and movements seeking Marxist legitimacy.
