Racialized Muslim
A concept referring to Muslims who are socially and legally categorized as a racial or ethnic group, subject to racialization—being assigned a racial identity that enables stereotyping, surveillance, and state control over their civil liberties. The term is used in critical race and postcolonial scholarship to describe how religious identity becomes racialized through state policies and social perception.
