Ogaden

A region in eastern Ethiopia inhabited predominantly by ethnic Somalis, which has been a subject of territorial disputes between Ethiopia and Somalia. The Ogaden conflict is the long-running struggle over this territory, the most notable episode of which was the 1977 Ogaden War.
