Muslim Ban
A term referring to government policies or executive actions that restrict or prohibit immigration, entry, or citizenship for Muslims, most notably the U.S. travel restrictions enacted under President Trump (and later iterations such as “Muslim Ban 2.0”) that courts struck down based on demonstrated anti-Muslim intent. It is also applied more broadly to analogous nationality- or religion-based exclusionary policies in other countries.
