Latin Christians
Christians of the Western (Roman/Latin-rite) church, as opposed to Eastern Orthodox and other traditions, typically referring to medieval Western European Catholics from the perspective of Byzantine or Eastern observers. The term is used in discussions of the East-West schism, Crusades, and inter-Christian and Christian-Muslim relations in the medieval period.
