Indus Valley civilization
The Indus Valley (or Indus Valley civilization) refers to a Bronze Age civilization that flourished in the northwestern regions of South Asia, roughly along the Indus River basin. It is known for its sophisticated urban planning and is often compared in sophistication to ancient Egypt or Mesopotamia, and it is believed to have declined due largely to climate change.
