Indian Islamophobia
A distinctly Indian (and often Hindutva/aligned-state-driven) form of anti-Muslim prejudice that frames Muslims as foreign invaders rather than citizens, and manifests in policies and practices such as hijab bans, demolitions, detention camps, and violence. It is characterized as an immediate lethal threat to Muslims and to Indian democracy.
