Crusader Jerusalem
The city of Jerusalem during the period of Crusader rule (roughly 1099–1187 and 1229–1244), when it was the capital of the Kingdom of Jerusalem established by the First Crusade. The term is used to refer to the social, economic, and demographic conditions of the city during this Frankish/Latin Christian occupation.
