Black Marxism
A theoretical and historical framework developed by Cedric Robinson in his 1983 book “Black Marxism” that reinterprets Marxism through the lens of the Black Radical Tradition, arguing that capitalism’s development was deeply entangled with racialism and that Black struggles constitute an autonomous revolutionary tradition rather than a derivative of European socialism.
