Anglo-Egyptian Condominium

The Anglo-Egyptian Condominium was the joint British-Egyptian administration of Sudan established in 1899, formally making Sudan a condominium governed by both Britain and Egypt while in practice giving Britain predominant control. The name was coined by Lord Cromer in 1899, and Sudanese revolutionaries protested against this arrangement.
