With the GATHERERS the movement answers who acts and how

Evidence

On the surface, BachTroy and Laura provide music and books, respectively. One loud, the other quiet. One kinetic, the other silent. But what they both really provide is SHARED EXPERIENCE. Collective attention requires other people as much as it requires a shared object of attention, and these Attention Activists serve up both in equal measure. They are joined in these ranks by imams, neighbors-who-throw-dinner-parties, community organizers, tailgaters, pastors, walking tour guides, and hosts of all stripes. Think of them as the GATHERERS: people who create life-giving ways of getting together and sharing attention. They are the people who make us Attention Activists an “us” in the first place. — The Friends of Attention, Attensity!, 404
