Vision Forum institutionalized Reconstructionist patriarchy via the homeschool network.
Evidence
Doug was the son of Howard Phillips, a Gothard supporter and behind-the-scenes architect of the Moral Majority. Having attended the Reconstructionist Fairfax Christian School, the younger Phillips put his learning to use as an attorney for the HSLDA. Given his pedigree, Doug was like royalty in the Christian homeschool community. In 1998 he founded Vision Forum, a Texas-based organization devoted to promoting biblical patriarchy within the homeschool movement, churches, and in the Christian film industry. — Kristin Kobes Du Mez, Jesus and John Wayne, 430
