Underage volunteers can cast an entire election’s worth of votes

Evidence

Right now, though, I have my sights set on getting out the vote in Fontucky, avoiding any trouble that could derail my plans. The way I see it, between escorting Gran and PawPaw, escorting strangers, and getting others to vote, it doesn’t matter that I can’t officially do it myself. I’ve voted dozens of times over for Ms. Chisholm, and so have a bunch of us underage students. So even if Fontucky never becomes an integrated Fontana and the Klan stays just as loud across the town line, as long as I make it to college and Ms. Chisholm wins, I, too, can say I’m unbought, unbossed, and, I’ll add, unbothered. — Nikole Hannah-Jones et al., The 1619 Project, 1186
