Two separate kinds of justice govern the attention movement
Evidence
As Attention Activists, we commit our hearts and minds to the pursuit of two distinct kinds of justice. The first resists the exploitative and often deceptive extraction of money from our eyes and minds. The second insists that our attention, and our humanity, far outstrip the meager metrics of money-value. These are two very different visions of justice. Both are necessary. We want companies held accountable for unethical practices, “dark pattern” interface tricks, and manipulative design features. That’s basic justice. But we want more than that. We also want the kind of justice that makes life worth living. — The Friends of Attention, Attensity!, 245
