The three acceleration dimensions recursively drive one another

Technical acceleration is therefore just the material basis of and a condition of possibility for the various social processes of acceleration that underlie those transformations and are discussed today primarily under the catchphrase globalization. It thereby forms at the same time the material basis for both the other forms of social acceleration, which then in turn serve as a “motivator” (Motivgeber) that drives technological acceleration.
