Evidence

Welti (2012) revisited this topic and expanded the investigation to include more variables. Using a custom MATLAB model, a wide range of room dimensions were analyzed and various seating arrangements, including larger more realistic listening areas positioned closer to the rear of the room. Several different subwoofer configurations were also tested.
