Sounds originate from landscape structure and need three perspectives to describe

Evidence

The landscape represent the basic structure from which sounds originate, and to better understand sonic dynamics it is necessary to have well in mind the basic concepts of the landscape (ecology). At least three different perspectives can be used to describe the landscape and its associated soundscape: a geographic perspective, an ecological perspective, and a cognitive perspective. — Almo Farina, Soundscape Ecology, 245
