Some Morisco households held estates of 50,000 to 150,000 ducats
Evidence
In order that the amount of cash that the Moriscos may carry off with them may be gauged, it must be borne in mind that there are thirty thousand households of them, more or less3 and although among them there are many who are very poor, there are others who are extremely rich, with some of them having an estate of 50,000 ducats, even 100,000 or 150,000. — L. P. Harvey, Muslims in Spain, 1500 to 1614, 1160
