Signals identical in loudness and pitch can differ markedly in pitch strength
Evidence
This demonstration contains 11 signals with the same loudness (8 sone) and approximately the same pitch (500 Hz) but different pitch strength. Each signal is played three times, ordered from highest to lowest pitch strength (see Fig. 5.24): Pure tone, complex tone low-pass, complex tone full, narrowband noise, AM tone, complex tone band-pass, band-pass noise, low-pass noise, comb-filtered noise, AM noise, high-pass noise. — Professor Dr.-Ing.
