Radio dramas illustrate consequences of behaviors like deforestation through consequential plot arcs
Evidence
A radio drama set in Rwanda promoted various changes, including family planning, prevention of HIV-AIDS, soil conservation, and biodiversity. In one of the story lines, a farmer cannot feed his large family with his small plot of land. He clear-cuts an adjacent hill. The erosion from it destroys his small plot. In desperation he turns to poaching gorillas, which lands him in even more serious trouble. Eventually, with the help of a neighbor, he is able to resolve his difficulties (Population Media Center, 2007). — Albert Bandura, Moral Disengagement, 2812
