Proximity to God maps onto graded brightness zones in the Millennial Temple

Evidence

The temple itself is filled with the light of Christ’s presence (John 9:5). The Source of Light is coming from the actual presence of the Lord in the Throne Room. Those saints closest to Him will be in the brightest (but smallest) rings of light around Him. Those farthest away from Him, will be in the fainter (but larger) rings of light in the outer circle. Those in the Gizrah will be like those in the last seat, of the last row, in the last balcony of a huge Music Hall. They know Christ is there. They are “with Him,” but they can’t quite “see” Him. — Chuck Missler, The Kingdom, Power and Glory, 772
