Plasticity enables authentic temporality’s characteristics to be conceived

Evidence

To bring out the openness to the future, the openness to the event which is part and parcel of Hegel’s philosophy, means that we will make explicit the existence of several times, as well as several stages of time: a plurality above and beyond the simple distinction between time in the vulgar, ordinary understanding and originary temporality. Perhaps what the notion of plasticity makes possible is a way to conceive the characteristics of authentic temporality which Heidegger himself brought out. — Catherine Malabou, The Future of Hegel, 1274
