Mixed-race IQ patterns refute claims of inherited racial intelligence differences.

Evidence

These claims have been decisively answered by, among others, biologist Steven Jay Gould in the second edition of The Mismeasure of Man (1996). Among the many pieces of evidence against racial IQ differences is the case of mixed-race people. If there really were inherited racial IQ differences between people of African ancestry and people of Caucasian ancestry, then we would expect to find that mixed-race people would consistently have IQs in between, and that those scores would vary based on the percentage of “white” or “black” ancestry in one’s history—that is, the more African in your genes, the lower your score. But the reality is that there is no such variation. — Rebecca A. Martusewicz, Jeff Edmundson, and John Lupinacci, EcoJustice Education, 1288
