Marx explicitly restricted primitive accumulation’s historical necessity to Western Europe

Evidence

Four years later, in a letter written to Vera Zusulich, the Russian revolutionary who would later work with Lenin in London, Marx would quote from the French edition of Capital as a response to her inquiries on “the agrarian question” in Russia: “The ‘historical necessity’ of this movement is thus explicitly restricted to the countries of Western Europe. The reason for this restriction is indicated
in chapter XXXII.” — Cedric J. Robinson, Black Marxism_ The Making of the Black
