Labour-power is the sole commodity whose use-value is the creation of value itself

Evidence

According to Marx, labour, or labour-power, is the only ‘total exclusion of objective wealth’. In Hegelian terms, it is the negation of capital, the ‘real non-capital’ and thus the ‘only use value which can present an opposite and a complement to money as capital’. As a commodity, it gains use-value as a consequence of being consumed to create value. — Dirk Braunstein, Adorno’s Critique of Political Economy, 1356
