Kusama staged her first naked “Press Happening” Sunday morning, July 14, outside the New York Stock Exchange. Reporting on the event, EVO’s star writer D. A. Latimer wrote perhaps the most appreciative, if scurrilous, interview-profile Kusama ever received. Latimer was charmed by the diminutive artist who, when questioned about her own sexual proclivities, flirtatiously told him in heavily accented English that “if you can’t fuck in the streets why bother.” — J.
