Islamic victories produced no serious Mozarab Christian theological literature
Evidence
Mozarabs were silent and untheological, except for the episode of the Martyrs’ Movement, when the former epithet at least was not deserved. The brief literature of the Movement is not impressive and it is important only as illustrating the idea of Christians then current; the story of Muhammad recounted by St Eulogius in his Liber Apologeticus Martyrum is couched in savage language, and varies between the ridiculously inaccurate and the unpleasantly absurd. — Norman Daniel, Islam and the West, 63
