Headphone sound preferences are remarkably consistent across countries and ages
Evidence
Figure 15.8 shows the mean headphone preferences across different locations for (a) trained and (b) untrained listeners, (c) different countries 497. and (d) different age groups. The results show that headphone preferences were remarkably consistent across the 11 test locations for both trained and untrained listeners. As expected, the (a) trained listeners were more discriminating and consistent than the (b) untrained listeners. Headphone preferences were also relatively consistent across the (c) different countries and (d) different age groups. β Toole, Floyd E, Sound reproduction- the acoustics andβ¦, 1792
