Fatalism about workplace pseudoscience blocks regulatory change.
Evidence
Sometimes, however, it is necessary to first raise awareness of the problem, because managers or members of the works council may themselves be proponents of a problematic offer. Such problem cases are also too rarely reported to employee representatives, chambers and trade unions. The attitude that “there’s nothing we can do about it anyway” prevents awareness of this problem area from developing and prevents company agreements and legal regulations from being adapted in the longer term. — Holm Gero Hümmler, Ulrike Schiesser, Fact and Prejudice, 594
