Exposure to hidden history moved every focus group participant toward supporting reparations
Evidence
At the beginning of the focus group process, we asked participants to rank their attitude toward reparations on a scale from 0 to 10, with 0 being fully in support and 10 being completely opposed. We asked them to rank their attitude again at the end of the four-day process. Initially the participants’ attitudes were spread throughout the scale, but after engaging in the various discussions, exercises, and readings, they all shifted to neutral or in favor of reparations. — Dorothy A.
