Disraeli modeled his race concept on aristocratic caste ideas
Evidence
With the consistency of most race fanatics, Disraeli spoke only with contempt of the “modern newfangled sentimental principle of nationality.” He hated the political equality at the basis of the nation-state and he feared for the survival of the Jews under its conditions. He fancied that race might give a social as well as political refuge against equalization. Since he knew the nobility of his time far better than he ever came to know the Jewish people, it is not surprising that he modeled the race concept after aristocratic caste concepts. — Hannah Arendt, The Origins of Totalitarianism, 251
