Complaint-based housing enforcement shifts to proactive area-wide inspections
Evidence
Until now, the housing ordinance and regulations have been enforced on a ccmplaint* basis - t., inspections were made when some one complained of a violation. The new program envisages βareaβ enforcement, whereby inspectors will be assigned to inspect all houses in a given area, regardless of complaints, and an effort will be made to eliminateall violations. β Henry M.
