Camgirls linked viewers to porn sites to deflect demands for nudity and earn commission

Evidence

As was common for many non-porn camgirls of the time, Anabella’s site began with the question, “Did you come here looking for sex?” She then provided links to a number of explicit sites viewers could visit. “Believe it or not, once I put up those links I get less requests to get naked!” Anabella explained. “I think it’s because people know that I will not do it, but I’ll give them the right place to find it. Besides, those links give me money.” — Theresa M. Senft, Camgirls, 312
