Lewis Salool, who had a Somali father and an Indian mother, was “a native of British Somaliland and of a missionary Catholic family. Educated in Bombay where he graduated M.A., LL.B., practiced as a lawyer in Addis Ababa under Italian regime, later in British Somaliland.
