Overall, this appeal was (thankfully) rejected by the San Francisco State students. They produced a mean of 2.24 for the letter’s being “‘sensible” and 1.82 for repeal of the Bill of Rights. But some of the students, especially authoritarians, resonated to this ignorant appeal to wipe out America’s major defense against tyranny.
