Authoritarianism shows weak or absent links to intelligence measures
Evidence
I have never found that RWA scores correlate with grades obtained in university courses. Also, no connection appeared with a measure of general intellectual ability, the Wonderlic Intelligence Test, among 185 Manitoba students (R WA, p. 325). However, Lykken (personal communication, March 14, 1994) reported that scores on the Weschler Adult Intelligence Survey correlated —. with RWA scores among 93 females, and —. among 47 males, drawn from the twins-reared-apart pool of the Minnesota Twin Study. — Bob Altemeyer, The Authoritarian Specter, 555
