Arab accommodation in Zionism was not a left-wing monopoly.
Evidence
Although some commentators contend that a desire for accommodation with Palestine’s Arabs was stronger to the left of the Zionist political spectrum, Israel Kolatt, Avi Shlaim, and others have shown that this claim does not always hold up to scrutiny. Even less understood than the traditional left-right Zionist divide regarding the Arabs are attempts by the anti-Zionist Orthodox to find a way to reconcile Jewish and Arab interests in Palestine, albeit at the expense of Jewish nationalism. — Ivan Davidson Kalmar, Derek Penslar, Orientalism and the Jews, 444
