American courts actively suppress race as a category in black death trials
Evidence
White fear more than almost anything else has driven the lightning-rod incidents involving the unnecessary deaths of black people at the hands of the police or armed whites. And yet we were supposed to believe that the George Zimmerman trial had little, if anything, to do with race. The system certainly tried to exclude it. Judge Debra Nelson ruled in a pretrial hearing that the prosecution could use only the word profiling—not racial profiling. Explicit reference to race was banished from the proceedings. — Eddie S.
