A dead political project can still dominate by default and inertia
Evidence
I do think that the financial crisis killed neoliberalism as a political project â but it doesnât need to be alive in order to continue to dominate our minds, work and culture. Even though neoliberalism now lacks any forward momentum, it still controls things by default. So, sadly, I donât see the deleterious psychic effects of neoliberalism waning any time in the immediate future. â Mark Fisher (edited by Darren Ambrose), K-Punk, 2072
